The Once and Future Talk

In 2019, my talk was accepted for production in TEDx Winnipeg’s 2020 lineup.
If you don’t know their process, it’s more than just an audition and performance – it’s a year of coaching by professionals to hone your message and train you to speak professionally on stage.
But before you can participate, you have to defend your message, essentially answering the question, “How do you want to change the world with your talk?”
Your topic must also match their theme for the year. I was lucky; my topic was judged worthy and congruent with their theme.
As summer 2020 approached, and we got ready for dress rehearsals, Covid was shutting the country down. In the end, there was no TEDx until 2023 – with a new theme that did not match my passion. I failed to land a spot that year.
But I feel my topic is still timely, so I’ve recorded it with a few updates.
I hope you enjoy it. Either way please write and let me know if my 400-year-old case study is still relevant in our 21st century: David@OneMoreGoodClient.com
